HOW TO PROTECT YOUR DATA
WHEN SEARCHING THE INTERNET
As late as in XIII BC, people realized that they should keep themselves and their lives away from prying eyes. This judgment is based on an ordinary artifact, an ancient key discovered by archaeologists in the tomb of Pharaoh.
We have to understand two things. The first is that every man has a secret to keep, and the second is that after 34 centuries, it's become much easier for a cybercriminal to steal information than to fish the wallet out of the blind's pocket.
In the digital age, we need interactive protection! The government, unscrupulous employees of the provider or hackers can easily track messages, browsing history, and other data patches including the bank card and passport numbers at any networked-connected gadget.
As for me, the raised topic is a moral question, so I'm going to share some basic concepts of information security and help you avoid potential risks.
PHONE CALLS, SMS, AND E-MAIL
If you want to make sure that your conversations are not tapped or recorded, you may forget about communication on cell phones. To make calls and write messages, it would be a good idea to install Telegram based on the "end-to-end encryption" principle. Now it's completely free, popular, and safe, unlike Skype or other VoIP applications that cooperate with security organizations.
To send a letter, I would suggest ProtonMail or Tutanota. However, if the recipient neglects the email services for "paranoics" (and is registered at, for example, @ukmail.com, @bing.com, @gmail.com), the sent letter can be intercepted or replaced.

IT'S VERY SIMPLE
INTERNET ACTIVITY MONITORING
Any manipulations on the WEB is a digital print. These logs are transmitted and resold to various companies that analyze your activity in cyberspace and, according to your interests, give you the proper ads or take other actions against you.
Privacy Badger is a tool to handle this. This free expansion will ensure your privacy and protect you from gathering information. Besides, I recommend you to replace Google or Yandex with Duckduckgo, which does not keep browsing history or track surfing. It's a great search engine!
TOTAL NETWORK ACTIVITY ENCRYPTION
VPN allows you to hide Internet traffic of your phone or computer. Milliseconds are needed to protect all sent packages from dishonest spectators that you haven't even suspected of.
This is an inevitable step that sooner or later everyone will have to take, so make a bet on those VPN (fee-paying only) services which do not have access to your personal information and do not require to install embedded applications. The choice is narrow, and although I do not encourage you to use SAINT2ME, I can declare with certainty that it was the lack of trust in service providers that has motivated me to create my own anonymization tool that justifies an each written word about it.
TIPS AND TRICKS
My dear friends, I've offered a list of the services that I have tested and can vouch for. It's up to you to use these services or not.
Along with Telegram, Proton Mail, Privacy Badger, Duckduckgo and VPN, I would also make sense of TOR. If you don't feel like installing the Onion Router, then, at least, turn off cookies in the main browser settings. Anyway, it'll never hurt.
However, always use your computer under user's rights, encrypt the hard drive, don't create easy-to-repeat passwords, make sure that you have the antivirus installed (preferably the fee-paying one), properly configure your Wi-Fi network, and, if possible, make sure the address bar contains https:// instead of http://, and never open any controversial sources.
In the 21st century, these actions are a necessary key to protection. Ignoring my leadership, you expose yourself and your folks to compromising and personal information disclosing risks. You never know who can possess your data.
